Sunset After the Storm

Yesterday some pretty awful thunderstorms rolled across this area. I was on my way to our Petal office, having just photographed one of our new listings, when it hit. I got soaked and ran home to get a change of clothes and a raincoat. The rain was blowing in horizontally under my carport (can it do that?), a Big Daddy Weave cd was hurled down the street, and I could barely open my screen door.

But, after all of that, God gave us a sight that words could not describe. We had our blinds closed, but a beautiful glow from the windows drew us out. This sunset was absolutely breathtaking. Isn't it amazing the blessing we receive after a storm?
